Healing Begins Here...

As a therapist at Modern DBT & Psychotherapy, Karla believes that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling life. Her approach centers on the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) concept of Acceptance and Change: Once we begin to accept ourselves exactly as we are in the present, we are more open to change.
Through evidence-based therapies such as DBT, CBT, and the Gottman Method, she works with clients to develop the skills needed to effectively manage their emotions and improve their overall quality of life.
"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." - Carl Rogers
